This is the changelog page for the map used on the Fleet Trade server; also known as trade_minecraft_fleetnew.
The map has been updated since it's first iteration. Aside from a campsite with a radio, some ruins, and a boxing arena; There's a Nether containing a large keep with a disco room - and not only ghasts - but striders too! And a garden! The Aether is the ultimate hang out space offering a much more open and chill environment complete with floating islands, a library, clubhouse, and church. The caverns offer some much needed close quarters combat - but also some more hiding spots for those looking for some peace and quiet. Did I even mention the End Arena?
This update was a complete map overhaul and rework
MAIN AREA
SPAWN
• The look of spawn has been changed up a good deal - and feels more lived in and comfy.
• There is another front door exit out of spawn, and another exit added to the second floor. There are now 6 exits out of spawn; not including the boxing arena portal.
• Lighting has been changed to feel more cozy.
• Various paintings have been added.
HHS SPAWN AREA
• The HHS has been removed for the time being.. he will be making a return in the future.
• For future patchnotes the HHS SPAWN AREA will now be called the CAMPGROUNDS.
CAMPGROUNDS
• This area has been changed to now be a cute little camp!
• Overall structure tweaked so that all classes can get up top much easier.
• More covered areas to hide from snipers.
• Added lots of pickups
• TNT location changes.
• Portals for the Nether and Aether have been added past the campfire
• Something else seems to be past there too…
WATERFALL
• Waterfall has been adjusted:
Push trigger has been adjusted so less mobile classes would have an easier time climbing the waterfall.
Before it was difficult to climb out of the waterfall onto the top ramparts, it is now much more accessible all around.
• The waterway going under the clocktower now connects to an unnamed area players cannot reach yet, and goes under the waterfall leading into the campgrounds. Be careful in there!
CLOCKTOWER
• Due to the scale change the clocktower has been slightly altered in both width and height in certain spots.
• Clock now rings after 30 minutes, hands move correctly as well but it does desync the more the server is on. – I am working on fixing this for a later update but it is very low priority.
• Windows and interior have been updated to fit in with the maps new aesthetic.
• There is now a room on the top for chillen and pickups.
UPPER RAMPARTS
• Upper lip of the ramparts has been slightly lowered so all classes can use them easily.
• A developing building has been built above the waterfalls stream.
• Tree planters have been added for sniper cover protecting the new staircases and cause they look good.
• There are a few new buildings above spawns.

• The cave area has been rebuilt.
• A barricade has been removed in the caves…
• Through the caves an area proposed in the original maps design has been added. This area will be explorable in the next update.

AETHER
• Structure has been completely redone to fit the new map scale. This has been done so that all players can enjoy and explore the aether, and to have it ready for any following updates.

NETHER
• Nether has been rebuilt. Main structures are in their places, but work has been done to enhance playability for less mobile classes.
• Nethers lighting has also become a bit darker for a bit of a different atmosphere.
• Lava has been tweaked so it doesn’t kill players who fall into the lava immediately, does cause afterburn though so I would be careful.
• With this the ghasts have been adjusted with the new layout.

BOXING ARENA
• Teleport room has been adjusted and given doors.
• New hallway has been added that leads from the teleport room to the overlook.
• The overlook facing the boxing ring has been furnished.
• The boxing ring now only allows physical damage.
• No-build has been tweaked as well.
• Something else has changed with it…
GENERAL CHANGES
AUDIO
• Audio in general has been re-looped for better playback ingame, and optimized for smaller downloads without sounding compressed.
• Aether music changed to a community voted suggestion:
• Nether music changed due to the background music not agreeing with the optimization process.
• Other than the optimization and music changes change; music has also been added in a couple areas.
STRUCTURE
• Map has been centered, layered, and adjusted to fit the scale of MC styled textures map-wide (No more manually adjusting textures, save for a few I implemented poorly - this will be fixed.
• The main reason for the rebuild of most of the map was because too many brushes were intersecting, resulting in unoptimized compile times and rendering.
OPTIMIZATION
• Areaportals have been used in a couple spots - they will be used more in later updates for better optimization.
• Brushes in hammer have been cleaned up to future proof the map for updates, and in some areas reduced — however reduction is being still going to be implemented later with further updates. This will allow much more additions in the future. I guess this is The End?

MAIN AREA
AUDIO
• Fixed the issue with sound caches - - basically what I did was edit an already existing audio file and forgot to rename it before embedding it into the map. This caused screeching. The birds have gone to sleep.
SPAWN
• Spawn room itself is now the rooms full size.
• Added trigger_hurt to spawns.
• Nobuilds have been added to the exits.
CAMPGROUNDS
• TNT readded - - sorry!!!
• Campground radio has had it's ambient_generics tweaked.
• A couple exposed nodrawn faces have been textured.
RUINS
CREDIT ROOM
• Music list has been added.
• Arena and Cave path has been tweaked cosmetically.
• Lighting has been tweaked.
PORTAL HUB
• Teleport destinations are a bit farther away from the portals. Hopefully this fixes repeatedly teleporting problems.
• Nobuilds have been added to the portals.
END SHRINE
• Water has been moved back slightly for the areaportals added in the doorway to the arena.
AETHER
• No changes
NETHER
• More paintings have been added to the main fortress.
• Nether dance room has had it's ambient_generic tweaked.
BOXING ARENA
• TNT has been added.
• The side hallway is now furnished.
• Pickups have been added to the side hallway.
• Bleachers have been adjusted cosmetically.
• New paintings added to the viewing area.
• Missing painting texture is now included.
• Doors now open inwards so enemies can't glitch in.
• Doors open a bit faster.

• Areaportals have been used in more places to cull the map a bit better.

TLDR
Adds Caverns, the Yard (Event Area), and an End Arena (Boss Area). Also updated some parts of both the Aether and Nether areas, and features a reworked portal hub.
OVERWORLD
SPAWN
Major Changes
• A new path from the spawns that lead to the newly accessible pool has been created with a smaller lounge.
• More rooms have been added to the spawns that lead to the new yard.
• A small room has been added to each spawn on each porch.

CAMPGROUNDS
• Rooms that looked down at the portals have been made slightly bigger, and you can see a little into the new portal hub.
• Tweaked the fan pull trigger - now it is not OP.
• A new track has been added to the radio.
• Waterway building has been given another exit facing the alley.
• Alley leading to the boxing arena has been given a couple of small cubby rooms.
POOL
• Now accessible via the Waterway, the Cave, and Spawn.
• Has been furnished slightly.
BOXING ARENA
Major Changes
• Blu and Red team rooms mirrored to match with the actual spawn room sides.
• Extra exits added from the boxing team rooms.
• Tunnel leading to the watermill has been given a couple of small cubby rooms.
• Button has been added that changes the current track.
• Paintings moved slightly.
• Added some health alcoves.
• Teleporter that goes to the credit room has been moved to the yard.

NEW AREA: THE YARD
• Accessible from spawn, the boxing arena, and the credit room.
• An event/shared area with a lot of verticality and open space.
RUINS
CAVE
• Doors have been removed leading to the new pool, doorways adjusted to feel less congested.
• Some of the new pyres have been added here.
CREDIT ROOM
• Credit list marquee updated.
• Music list marquee updated.

• A new screen has been added.
• Teleporter that goes to boxing arena now brings you to the yard.
• Thanks wall has been updated.
PORTAL HUB
• Merged with End Shrine.
• Portal hub has been drastically changed to accommodate more portals, and just overall made to be an actual 'room' instead of a 'portal hall'.
• Water has been drained and the end portal is - almost - ready for use.
• Some of the new pyres have been added.
• A pickup alcove has been added.
• Some more detail has been added.
NEW AREA: THE CAVERN
• Accessible through the Pool.
• A place to search, that can also just be a place to hang out.
AETHER
• A couple of smaller islands have been added, one has been slightly altered.
• There are two more channels on the club TV.
• The house for sale has slightly better lighting and slightly changed furniture.
• More health and ammo pickups added.
• A krit pickup has been added.
• TNT has been added.
NETHER
• Sad ghast now has his own sounds.
• Ghast audio console bug fixed.
• The lift now goes higher, and is less forgiving so BE CAREFUL!
• Various details have been turned into func_lod or a prop.
• Stairs Z-Clipping the modelled stairs have been removed.
• Top of the Keep now has light.
• A krit pickup has been added.
NEW AREA: END ARENA
• Accessible through the End Shrine.
• Lower gravity boss arena that runs off the clocktower.

Going to try to take it down to atleast 80% for the next update.
• Func_detail to func_lod.
Reduces waterindices - which can stop compiling alltogether, and if ignored can cause crashing while playing.
- This creates some pop in when noclipping through areas, but will allow more expansions to the map going forward.
• File size has increased by +25 mbs.
This can happen due to more textures, or sometimes expansions to a map, but is mostly cause of new audio being embedded in the map. Shouldn't get much bigger.
• This update focuses on optimization as well as bringing halloween to the fleet map
TLDR
3D skybox added -- Lighting tweaked. The soundscape is now appropriate for the event, and spells have been added around the map; Some areas have been altered -- The General Overworld, The Cavern, Boxing Arena, and the Yard have seen various changes.

• Deep cavern has had more textures added. Redstone ore has also been created for more variation.
• Bridges, platforms, and pillars have been modelled to reduce brush count and waterindices.
• More platforms have been added to the deep cavern for more variety.
• Scary sounds have been added to the soundscape.
AETHER
• Island expansion.
• The small clubhouse has had music added.
NETHER
